Community Emergency Preparedness

Rescue 8 prepares youth, residents, schools, businesses, faith-based organizations, and community groups to respond safely and effectively before professional help arrives. Through hands-on education and realistic emergency exercises, participants develop the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to protect themselves and assist others during medical emergencies, fires, severe weather, workplace incidents, and other disasters.

Our training includes CPR and First Aid, Stop the Bleed, fire-extinguisher use, evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures, emergency communication planning, severe-weather preparedness, and workplace emergency response. By strengthening individual skills and building coordinated community-response networks, Rescue 8 helps create safer, more resilient, and better-prepared neighborhoods.
